Members

Established in 2002, Damdaming Katoliko sa Teolohiya, Inc. (Catholic Theological Society of the Philippines) is a professional association of theologians committed to fostering a just and inclusive Church and society. Guided by this vision, the association supports creative and rigorous theological research and its dissemination; promotes sustained theological reflection and dialogue on contemporary issues; nurtures fellowship among its members and solidarity with the oppressed and excluded; and advances theological inquiry and practice in conversation with diverse contexts, academic disciplines, social movements, and faith traditions.

Membership Qualifications

Dakateo membership is open to Catholic theologians working or based in the Philippines, with at least a graduate degree equivalent to a licentiate, preferably a doctoral degree with specialization in Theology, Theological Studies, Religious Studies, or Religious Education, who subscribes to the vision and mission statement of the association and is active in theological research, education, or administration, preferably with published work.
